American Veterans Honor Guard is a Washington State Non Profit private Corporation with United States Internal Revenue 501 (c) 3 certification. In that we have no outside source of income or other financial support, we appreciate donations which, under our 501 (c) 3 charter are tax deductible.
In line with our non-profit charitable standing, we have no employees or employee expense. From donations, we pay our liability insurance, vehicle licensing and maintenance; uniform purchases, and actual program expenses which includes our photo DVD program (described on our home page). All funds in excess of these basic operating expenses are donated to provide assistance to homeless veterans and their families; hospitalized veterans, and programs that are designed specifically to relieve children’s hunger.

In 2011, we donated $500.00 each to the three Veterans Homes in Washington State and $500.00 to the Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles. Over $2000.00 in Stamped 1st class envelopes were donated to the same Veterans Homes; the Vancouver Washington VA Hospital (Skilled Nursing Unit) and Share House, Vancouver. We were privileged to support a group of veterans in dire need through the Vancouver Share House, and provided over 50 backpacks to the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center. In addition we shipped over 1200 pounds of goods to our troops in Iraq. At this time, we are providing a sponsorship to the Share House “Backpacks for Kids” program in Vancouver.
