It is our fervent desire to present a respectful and reverent funeral service for Honorably Discharged Veterans of the five branches of service. We are most particular in training our personnel, and upon completion of their proficiency in "Honors," they are awarded a flag wreath pin which is worn on the member's beret. In that we have no outside source of income or other financial support, we appreciate donations which, under our 501 (c) 3 charter are tax deductible.
Our Veterans: "Those Who Served" who have been honorably discharged from service in the United States Military are entitled to Military Funeral Honors. This is described in part in Title 10, US Code, and, the United States Army Drill and Ceremony manual. In general terms, this involves a firing party of 5 to 8 riflemen to fire three rifle volleys (who also serve to fold and present our National Color). So as to provide a truly superior service, we not only meet U.S. requirements, we post our National Color as well as the flag of the deceased's branch of service at the front of the grave site. A grave marker flag and three spent cartridges are presented to the next of kin, and a photo DVD of the service is mailed to the family to serve as a remembrance of the service.
